Orthodontics like it’s 2023
Your teeth are as unique as your fingerprints. That’s why, instead of a one-size-fits-all appliance, we offer the world’s first fully digital, 3D-printed braces bracket. LightForce custom braces are built specifically for your smile, making treatment more accurate and comfortable. As the leading South Jersey LightForce provider, Dr. Piskai can achieve amazing results in patients of all ages!
LightForce Braces vs. Traditional Braces
Traditional metal braces and clear braces are pre-fabricated in standard sizes and shapes. The orthodontist then has to spend time after the fact manually bending wires and positioning brackets to move your teeth in the right direction. While, of course, treatment can still be effective, it’s reactive and kind of inefficient.
LightForce braces, on the other hand, allow for a proactive approach. Dr. Piskai digitally designs your smile in advance based on your real dental and facial features and anatomy. Your LightForce brackets are then 3D printed to fit the unique shape of each corresponding tooth. The braces are also pre-programmed to achieve the desired movements, so teeth take a more direct – and comfortable – path to their final positions.
How Do LightForce Braces Work?
A friendly team member takes digital scans of your teeth to create a 3D model of your mouth. Dr. Piskai manipulates the virtual model until your teeth and jaws are in their ideal places. She sends her treatment plan to the lab and LightForce uses 3D-printing technology to fabricate custom brackets in your choice of clear or white ceramic. Once in place, the braces exert steady, gentle pressure to move your teeth into position.
